First, I propose to change the main description:
-"Ekiga also features simple instant messaging."
+"Ekiga also features basic instant messaging."

Reason: in this context, SIMPLE is the name of a technology for instant
messaging, thus this is confusing as Ekiga doesn't implement SIMPLE yet
(it's in SVN)

I agree on the idea.

Isn't this clear enough ? Those are classic operations you can do with
phones...
suspend: suspend the call (like pause the call).
Transfer: transfer the call to another SIP user while in communication.
Redirection: automatically redirect any call to another SIP user.

technically speaking. ALSA provides drivers, V4L is an API in the kernel
