I'd like to do the same for the Ubuntu docs then, if there are no
objections. We could hopefully bring in a lot of material from the wiki,
too.

Again, I'm especially keen to link to and reuse the resources on the
wiki. Touchpads and suspend/resume are pretty common questions, I think.

That looks much better! I'll try to prepare a patch this week for the
Ubuntu side of things - all of the instructions mentioning the KMenu
will need to be changed, but that's about it I think.

I suppose it depends on who the potential programmer is. I think you can
only program in Python and Perl out of the box anyway; build-essential
is an optional package AFAIK.
