One question: did you test the omf files and see if they work as they
should in terms of the formatting that you are looking for? If so, I'm
in favour of committing these changes, with the following exception:

Part of the point of the server guide is that it doesn't have to be done
on a machine which is a dedicated server, but lots of it can be relevant
to a desktop machine which the administrator wants to run some services
on... So I prefer the previous description.
