That bug is definitely high priority and has been marked as such. We
worked on it already during the last release cycle with the inclusion of
material on wireless cards and ADSL modems. The material on connecting
with a dialup modem needs to be improved.

However, the main difficult in implementing a fix for this bug is that
connecting to the internet with many interfaces is actually extremely
difficult, and depends massively on models - it's really difficult to
include documentation, for example, which covers all the different
models of dialup modem.
