Juan,
You have come to the Ubuntu Documentation Project mailing list. However, that
doesn't mean I won't help point you in the right direction, and maybe give
you a pointer or two ;)
ubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com is where you should your questions too. There
are thousands of people (piranha) waiting to answer your email for you.
Some programs you can install that are made just for Windows. You would use an
application called Wine (Wine Is Not an Emulator). It is a recurssive acronym
just like GNU. Anyways, you can check out http://www.winehq.com and look over
the AppDB to see if the application you have in mind has the potential to run
for you.
Good luck with this one, as I haven't messed with Wine, but only a few times.
