Ubuntu wikipages

We have some wiki pages as Switching to ubuntu and switching from
windows.Inthese pages we haven't mentioned ways to settle in linux for
users which are
not connected to internet.As far as windows concerned,software for windows
is readily available offline but for linux users they need to find linux
magazines or lugs.
So we have to compile some tips for such offline users to have their hands
on linux.I have discussed this issue already in ubuntuforums.but i got
replies as ubuntu is broadband os and it is intended for intermediate users
and not for beginers.So i want to clearify these myths on wikipages so if
you have any suggestions or thoughts for "Ubuntu for offline users" topic
then pass some lines.
