Phew! I was about to start debugging it until I read this follow-up mail.

I will return to working on the Desktop Starter Guide a little later,
I will give it a good thorough going-over, like I did for
getting-started.xml, and suggest/carry-out an integration of the tips
and tricks into the main guide.  I would also like to setup a Wiki
page containing these tips and tricks in a very well set-out
classification scheme, to allow for the page to keep growing.  I don't
imagine that all of the tips-and-tricks should remain or be integrated
into the main guide.

I have also had a "Captain Cook" (rhyming slang) at the Server Starter
Guide, it looks great!  I may contribute to that in some capacity
later if I am knowledgeable in the areas that need completion.
