Jerome,
IMHO, I am very happy with current Moin version we have. A java editor
is not my ideal editor but it sure is a simple way to edit pages to many
people, and even encourages others to make nicer docs (esp. tables!, if
you have been there).
I'd like to suggest we place a poll so everyone with at least minimum
intentions to edit the wiki, can vote on the subject.
This way we would also tell them "ok, we have a GUI editor you can use
but be warned it may fail sometimes". On the other hand, 1.5 still keeps
the option to keep using 'text mode' wiki syntax so users will always
have the chance to decide: 'stable' or 'testing' way of editing.
Who knows, maybe for some users the editor never fails ;)
