Hey Christer,
As I am likely the culprit for adding those pages, I figured I would
provide some feedback.
General (both good and bad):
-the general writing style is quite good
-need to capitilize the sections
-when telling people to install packages, don't use apt-get but simply
tell them which packages to install
-the definition section heading can go away, leaving the first para as the intro
-don't refer to Dapper, refer to Ubuntu 6.04 (Dapper Drake)
CompileGaim
-needs to better explain the risks of doing this
VNC
-might be better renamed: RemotelyConnection or something similar (my
mind is blank for good names here)
-VNC is already installed, and thus that section can be renamed
-use section should use tsclient, which is installed by default
Jigdo
-link to BurningISO so that people know what they are doing with this
Ntop
-are there existing installed methods of doing this? If so, mention them
SourcesList
-we prefer not to mention any editor, simply that they need to edit X
file with sudo privs
-the common template needs to go away. Having all these littering the
wiki is a bad thing
-please link to the AddingRepos page at the top, as that is a
perferred method of editing it by a GUI, and AddingReposCLI for
editing on the server
Hopefully this is some good feedback,
Corey
