In creating the UserDocBeta page, I became aware that there is a need
for a lot of areas that aren't covered in any forms of the Ubuntu
documentation. The reasoning behind being so broad with the scope of
the wiki is to create a large todo list to encourage everybody who has
specialist interest in certain areas to create pages in an organised
fashion.

I do agree that it is a large task and perhaps could be left to a
little later, but there is a definite need for a cleaner UserDoc page,
albeit without sub-indexes, prior to the release of Dapper. More
about a faster cleanup of UserDoc is at the end of this reply.

When the Wiki Move approaches or has a set date, I will review the
UserDocBeta page and ensure that only suitable CatDoc pages remain
categorised. I see where you are going with this point.

WikiDays would be also suited for performing large CatCleanup ->
CatDoc cleanups. Perhaps we could have the pages that are already
sub-index pages (like MultimediaApplications and WebBrowsers) remain
on the Documentation page. All other major pieces of doco can be
classified under a temporary sub-index page called MultimediaMisc,
InternetMisc, ServerMisc, etc just to contain links. That sounds like
a good fast-track solution to cleaning up UserDoc.
