Switching from Windows guide

I still think there needs to be guides that people can download/print/read
all in one setting if they want. I'm not totally behind TBH, but will work
on implementing it for the release. I think the Switching Guide should be
one complete guide and not split up.
I think it is an important guide to maintain that way and can hopefully
separate us a little if we make it easy to move from Windows to (K)Ubuntu...
I am surprised as I'm working on updating these guides how much good
information is in them that I wish I had in one place instead of moving
throughout the web/forums/help system.
I think the way the guide is setup Preparing -> Installing -> Migrating and
hopefully this time we can get authenticating finished as an appendix makes
it a whole lot easier then navigating different topics.

Well, "how to switch" is a bit vague here. I suggest these answers, for
each section in the current "Switching From Windows" guide:
* "Why switch to Ubuntu?" --> ubuntu.com
* "Trying out Ubuntu" --> ubuntu.com, CD cover
* "Hardware compatibility" --> ubuntu.com
* "Organizing your [Windows] files" --> a "Before you install" doc
* "Converting unsupported file types" --> Ubuntu Help
* all other sections in "Preparing to switch" --> "Before you install"
* "Obtaining an Ubuntu installation disc" --> ubuntu.com
* "Booting from the install CD" --> CD cover, ubuntu.com if downloaded
* "Entering basic information" --> the installer itself
* "Partitioning your disks" --> the installer itself
* "Finalizing the installation" --> the installer itself
* "Restarting into Ubuntu" --> the installer itself
* "Migrating your data into Ubuntu" --> Ubuntu Help
* "Applications in Ubuntu" --> Ubuntu Help
* "Dual-booting with Windows" --> Ubuntu Help
As Matthew E said, there's a lot of good information in here, and
moving it to more appropriate places would make it useful to many more
people.
Cheers
