Status of Server Guide + contrib questions?

I'll try to be brief here.
I read the Dapper Server Guide (on paper) in one sitting last week,
and I was really impressed. I feel like it's a third of the way to
being an all-time *nix classic. The networking intro is genius, and
the apache ssl config is, so to speak, "for reaaaal". Which brings me
to my my questions:
1... To the best of my understanding, the current doc is frozen, but a
new Edgy server guide will clone off of the current?
2... Perhaps submitting suggestions as bug reports is appropriate at this stage?
As for myself,
1. I'm a grad student and a volunteer sysadmin, i.e. broke and busy.
2. The server guide has already saved me alot of time time.
3. I want to see it continue to improve, and my resources to do that
are somewhat limited.
For reference, the outline is here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ServerGuide
and the user feedback forum is here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=193305
(including lots of support requests).
and the bugs page is here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/products/ubuntu-doc/+bugs
thanks!

vague, than the exact answer to the wrong question, which can always
