I can't find the project now but I'm almost positive I saw some  
ubuntu projects listed on the Open Usability website.

I know Ellen Reitmayr of the KDE group was at the Paris Summit and  
there was some talk of using the Open Usability folks to help with  
some Ubuntu projects (desktop, wireless app, artwork, general  
interface, etc.).  Open Usability has some quality resources that  
could be perhaps be tapped to assist your efforts.  If we can narrow  
our focus and perhaps define a project for them, this could be a nice  
collaborative effort.
