Cool, just go ahead and rename stuff, I'll sort the Makefile out (it
needs a thorough going over to ensure that the distinction between web
versions and local versions is clear and consistent in all docs.

I've kept this relatively up to date. We also had a couple of scripts
that jbailey knocked up for automating the process to some extent. We
can use them for dapper too, and for kubuntu as well as Ubuntu, if this
process is acceptable. During the release cycle, we can do some tests to
ensure that it is.

Agreed. However, don't forget that translation doesn't occur during the
release cycle, but only right at the end, subsequent to Documentation
String Freeze. so we have plenty of time.
