Either will be fine I'm sure. An alternative solution might be to use the 
French speaking list found here: 
http://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-fr 

The -nn international lists are intended to serve both for support purposes 
and for locoteam activity, so (e.g.) the Italian team tends to use that list 
for publishing wiki and other translation activity.
