As I just said in the text you quoted, none of the help docs seem to be
in the ubuntu-docs SVN repository (except for the Quick Guide).

No it doesn't; it talks only about the ubuntu-docs repository.

I'm already a regular in #ubuntu-doc, but no-one has been able to answer
my question there so far, which is why I mailed the list. #ubuntu--doc
doesn't exist.
