wiki front page

Hi all -

You may have noticed that we had a bit of a wiki disaster this morning. 
Someone inadvertently deleted the FrontPage and it was not possible to 
undo/restore it.

I had an image of the previous front page, and found various versions on 
the wiki entitled things like "NewFrontPage" and thus reconstructed a 
viable front page. It's not perfect yet, but it is functional. I also 
took the opportunity to do a little gardening.

The FrontPage was down for about 7-10 hours and needed to be fixed 
immediately. I just wanted to let you know so that you would understand 
why it suddenly changed with no notice and outside of your normal 
discussion process.  Any gripes about that should be directed at me.  I 
expect this will (and should) kick off a discussion about how to avoid 
this situation in the future.
