Someone else got bit the gmail bug. Here is something that they sent
me, and I assume they meant to send it to the list.
The reason we moved from Zwiki to MoinMoin (which I would consider a
medium scale project) is that of language.
Mediawiki is a PHP application, and PHP has a somewhat justified
reputation has being impossible to secure. PhpBB has had a number of
high profile incidents, as have other php apps.
That being said, Mediawiki runs one of the 100 largest sites in the
world (either by traffic or size). I seriously doubt they are going to
let a security issue slip by them.
