I think there is balance. Following the guidelines provide in
'AboutTheUbuntuCoreDocumentationProject' should keep images to a minimum. In
other words, it does not make sense to just add screens for the sake of the
look. In most every instance, except Quick Guide, the documents will be
spartan of pictures. In Quick Guide I think we are talking about one screen
per application. This should not be to bad.
Also take into consideration that our framework is also reducing much of the
overhead for translators. The menus and increased use of the combination of
External Entities, XInclude and XPointer will help make work load lighter.
In addition, since we are using XML, the translators are more likely to use po
files and translation memories to semi--automate translations.
