Ubuntu Magazine [Was: On Ubuntu Marketing]

Maybe a new site based on the slashdot model would be the way to go. 
I would love to see something that all the submitted stories can be
looked at and it is possible for anyone to create an account.  this
would give them the ability to +1 or -1 a story - when a trigger level
is reached it appears in the main page.  This model could also be used
with a www.indymedia.org type presentation - with a unmoderated
newswire on the right and a editorial type thing in the middle.
