SVN commit status

I think we consent that read-access should be free for all. Otherwise it
would be hard to submit patches.

Regarding write-access. I agree that we should not have a 100 people
editing just 8 parts. But why not handle it easily. If someone is
serious about contributing I wouldn't mind her contributing it directly.
We should just be careful to not let people in who just add their names
to the "authors" section and are never seen again. :)
