Portuguese translation

hi guys,

as of writing there are at least 2 guys (including myself) interested
into translating the ubuntu manual into the Portuguese language. There
is another brazilian person, but i can't get hold of him....

now... is it safe for us to start to translate the work you guys have
produced so far (which i haven't had a chance to look at yet), or should
we wait until there is somekind of more stable version?
