German translation of the home page

Hi, fellows...

I wondered why there isn't yet a German translation of the start page.
The domain ubuntulinux.de already points to ubuntulinux.org. As ReST
should be able to handle different translations depending on what the
browser sends as a preference it should be possible to present a
localised version, isn't it?

Whoever is in charge of that part of Ubuntu (lulu? mako?):
I offer help. :)
