I'm curious what data udd stores.
I'm +1000 on moving it towards a service, something that can be driven
without access to the machine will make making it fully webops much
simpler.
You could consider storm rather than the django ORM, but I don't think
we have a compelling alternative to Django for html templates at the
moment (other than 'zope' which is fairly ill defined - but these days
probably means pyramid.
