How to ask for introducing a new package into main?

Ah! That's the key info missing in my head.

So would you say that universe and main is something like a stage/stair?
Beside of exceptional cases you have to be in universe before gettin
into "main"?

That was also new to me that it happens that kind of automatic.
I like that.

I totally misunderstood universe. I thought it was community driven. I
mean "Ubuntu fans" doing the packaging there.

This wish came from my wrong picture of universe I think.
