"netinst" is a specific, unintuitive name for a CD that Debian produces;
it's defined as an image that includes all the udebs from the archive
without including any .debs.  So this is debian-cd jargon, and should really
be avoided when talking about Ubuntu images, especially considering how
easily "netinst" can be confused with "netboot".

I think it's better to call what we produce a "minimal CD", as here:

But while this CD would continue to be available, and we probably wouldn't
spend effort on adding UEFI support to it, it's still not something that I
think we want to point to as a supported install method for broken-BIOS
machines, for the reasons mentioned in my previous mail.
