Query re correcting borked SNMP mibs.

As a recent arrival on this list - so far it seems it is more about dev
policy than working contributed hacks into the code base?!?

Regardless the contribution I am interested in preparing, is to repair some
slightly borked SNMP mibs that I have detected could be improved in the
distribution.

Is this the correct place ... or should I engage elsewhere?
