Hi all,

Ubuntu was not accepted into GSoC this year, due to procedural issues
with the application.

Debian is an accepted organization[1], however. Potential contributors
previously considering working with Ubuntu would be encouraged to look
at Debian's ideas page.

Let's work next year to make our 2013 application a success.
