gstreamer & vdpau

Hello,

last year I reported bug, that vdpau is not enabled in ubuntu 
gstreamer package: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gst-
plugins-bad0.10/+bug/902834

but nobody looked at bug... so what is reason, why is vdpau 
support in gstreamer disabled?
