Ubuntu 10.10 Quality Bug Status Report

Hello Ubuntu Developers,

It's that time of the Maverick Release cycle where our goal is on
stabilization towards a high quality release. So, I'm going to start
sending out this report on a regular basis to help us focus on the work
ahead.

22 days left and 156 bug tasks to fix. [1]
Barring no new work, we need to fix 7 bug tasks per day now.

The focus of bug fixing should be on the following tasks:

1. The 2 Critical bug tasks. [2]

[armel] java fails to start with eglibc-2.12-0ubuntu4
 http://launchpad.net/bugs/605042
upowerd crashed with SIGSEGV in dbus_connection_send()
 http://launchpad.net/bugs/614119

2. The 7 bug tasks that might cause a regression in Maverick. [3]
3. The 60 High bug tasks. [4]

The Canonical Foundations Team needs to deal with 7 bug tasks.
Rodrigo Moya is the most overtasked with 8 bug tasks.
Colin Watson is rockin' with 35 bug tasks fixed!
Thursday's hero was Oliver Grawert with 3 bug tasks fixed!

Thank you for your focus on quality.

Regards,

Marjo
