:) True, largely because the FHS is more relaxed about subdirectories
under /opt, as in: "The structure of the directories below
/opt/<provider> is left up to the packager of the software".

It's still better if apps follow the naming conventions of the rest of
the FHS, even under their own subdirectories in /opt (libs in
/opt/.../lib, images in /opt/.../share, etc.) but if they mix it up, or
just dump all their files in one directory, at least it's one directory
off to the side in /opt.
