slowness of syncing process

For the record, there's [1], but please treat it with caution: In some
cases it gets the changelog entries (i. e. the ones landing in the
.changes) wrong, and it has never been blessed officially. However,
it's doing by and large what the Launchpad script is doing as well.

I primarily use this for the packages which I (co-)maintain in Debian
as well; there I usually dput to Debian, syncpackage on the .dsc, and
upload to Ubuntu right away. I haven't tried it on any large-scale
sync processing.
