'command-not-found' is one of early bits of *innovation* that came out of
Ubuntu to the point of being adopted by other distributions. In a way, it
typifies Ubuntu's "just works" mantra and quest for ease of use.
It is what allows us to get away with just shipping a subset of software (a
single CD-ROM full) and not getting complaints---the infrastructure informs
the user what action they need to take to complete their desired task if
those bits of software weren't on the CD to be begin with.

The source text from rookery is 1MB, this is converted to 2.5 MB of database
files---something unnecessary for what is essentially a grep operation and
less ammenable to compression.
