They'll be shown in their own source in the navigation pane
("Independent", as compared with "Provided by Ubuntu" and "Canonical
Partners") -- but they'll be aggregated at the "Get Software" top level,
because most of the time, people won't need to know the difference.

"What's New" will show any new application, regardless of whether it's a
backport by Ubuntu developers or packaged independently.
