I'm (as a developer) now expected to follow the TB mailing list to get
notified about discussions important for the Ubuntu development
community? Is there a list of mailing lists and online resources I
should follow to be to some extent up-to-date regarding Ubuntu
development? Apparently following ubuntu-devel and ubuntu-devel-announce
doesn't look to be enough anymore.

Although the process was public (everyone could comment) it was sort of
hidden with it taking place on the TB mailing list. Based on the
discussion we currently see, some other missed that discussion too.

And telling that the process was with "consultation with community
contributors" when mostly only Canonical people were involved seems IMHO
wrong as I've trouble to distinguish if they commented as community
members or Canonical employees. And asking now for community members to
fill the board doesn't look very motivating for me to get involved in this
process at all.
