Do we keep a log of removed packages and the reasons for them?

pscx was replaced by pcsx-df, however that package got recently (Nov.
2009) removed from Debian after the package had been orphaned for a
while. Plus, there's apparently a license issue, which upstream was most
probably never told about, since one of the pcsx-df developers was quite
responsive when dealing with a license violation on another program he's
working on.
I just discovered that after reading you email, actually. For whatever
reason when I looked into pcsx-df in Debian last June, I didn't notice
there was an orphaning request from the maintainer and got stuck waiting
for a reply in a new version request bug that had been opened for a while.
