-nvidia upgrade issues

I did some testing with the nvidia driver from nvidia.com (a common
suggestion in the forums is to use that) and did a jaunty->karmic
upgrade with that installed. After the reboot it does no longer has
working GLX, but the desktop comes up and works. Reinstalling the
nvidia driver (from nvidia.com again) makes GLX work just fine. So
this upgrade path should be safe as well.
