Bug 317781 - Ext4 Data Loss with Jaunty

While ext4 is not the default filesystem for Jaunty there has been an
issue where it will leave users with zero byte files if the system
"crashes". Ted Ts'o did a great write up of why this occurs:

Why am I posting this here? To raise awareness. It has a large impact on
Gnome & KDE developers & users. I'll spare everyone the gory details
(you can read the link above) other than to say this is something that
we will see more of as Linux gets more sophisticated filesystems.
