Static Path?

Hi Brad,

The paths you see are an artifact of the packaging procedure (when
python files are byte compiled), but they do have no bearing on the
runtime behaviour. Evan happens to be the dev in charge of compiling
Wubi, but I am the guilty one. As per your error, this may happen if:
your are trying to install kubuntu (see bug #383752, submitted a patch
yesterday), you are using a proxy, the server was down at the time or
you could not connect to it for other reasons. Feel free to open a new
bug in https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/wubi/ if your case is not
covered and I will look at it.

Thanks,

Ago
