Sorry, You might have receive this post coming from nowhere. I'll 
explain why you where in copy.

I am working on https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/174277 and 
there is a nice and motivated discussion on it on Ubuntu devel discuss 
mailing list. But someone  noticed that there was no "official" support 
in the topic. So I wondered how to get the official *opinion* on the 
topic and sent the post in here.
