Becoming an Ubuntu Developer

Hi guys,

First of all let me congratulate you for all your hard work since 2004.
I've been using Ubuntu since warty and I'd like to become a developer.

Where should I start? I've been reading
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment to know a little bit more of your
working environment.

I've been using Linux for 10 years now and I have Java, C and a little C++
knowledge but can easily learn anything.
I'm 25, working at NSN (Nokia Siemens Networks) as a software configuration
manager. I'll finish my degree in informatics engineering next year.
