getting JACK into Main

Hi all,

One of Edubuntu's target software is some kind of musical note editor.
For a long time we've used Denemo, but we're also interested in
mScore. Both of these apps depend on JACK and therefore I'd like to
get JACK into Main. After some discussion with Emmet Hikory the main
issues in promoting JACK into Main seems to be the freebob dependency.
The freebob library has a rather dead upstream which makes it
unattractive for Main. However, an alternative library, ffado is quite
active and has a newly released beta.

So, I'm wondering if there's anybody who would be willing to maintain
freebob or ffado in Main so that JACK can be safely promoted to Main
and Edubuntu can get its note editor back :-)
