Ubuntu 8.04 problems with some DELL servers

Some DELL's Perc RAID controllers (confirmed for 3/Di on PowerEdge 1650)
won't work with Ubuntu 8.04. Since this isn't a bug in the kernel, but
in DELL's firmware, I didn't report it as a bug. Never the less, I
wanted to warn you about this.

I suggest adding to release notes that upgrade of Dell RAID controller's
firmware is needed before doing upgrade or install. More info at:
