Hello

Is there a list of incompatible hardware combinations?

Question #11004 at answers.launchpad.net showed that due to an incompatible 
combination of hardware (mainboard and Gaphics-card) it was impossible to 
install ubuntu.

I know about such lists used by hardware vendors who assemble computer systems 
on customers demand. So having such a list might be interesting for companies 
as for private users.
