Which makes it impossibly likely that the machine will be compromised;
history shows that all shell-account machines, where the users are free
to login at will and run their own processes, are the target of
significant attacks -- and frequently break-ins.

We've only just been through one such case; and survived the bad press
that resulted -- this idea seems to be setting us up for yet another
