EcryptFS issue with Tribe2 bug?

Before going through the bug process, I would like to know if anyone
else can re-create what appears like a bug...

Ubuntu Version: Gusty Tribe 2
ISO Version: Alternative
Test Environment: VirtualBox 1.4.0
Drives: 1GB Main drive + 1GB Second Drive + 256MB Swap
RAM: 128MB, 8MB Video

Downloaded and installed Tribe2 into the environment described above.
Basic Install +EcryptFS-Utils +Samba

If I do not enable the ecryptfs, everything runs fine, no problems.

I mount the encryption with the following command

# mount -t encryptfs /my/mount /my/mount

it asks me for passcode; enctyption type (I select 3, AES-256), no to
passtrough text files.

I can touch a file, and the file creates. If I unmount the ecryptfs and
look at the raw disk, it shows a 12k file, which is filled with
gibberish... perfect!

remounting the ecryptfs and answering the questions the same again,
allows me to see my file, but now it reflects properly at 0 bytes. I
now try to add content to the file. I have tried it with Echo, Vim, and
across the SMB mount in Gedit. Every time, it locks up the Linux box.

Gusty still responds to a power shutdown (ACPI) request, so it is not
the kernel locking, but the shell never returns and does not respond to
ctrl-c, ctrl-z, or any other keystrokes as far as I can tell.

I did not see anything interesting in syslog.

Can anyone recreate this?
