Yes.  It does sound like we were having some communication difficulties.  
Thank you for sticking with it.  

I agree that it's an important piece of information and have no objection if a 
notice of the VCS source is present as part of the apt-get source interface, 
but it is just a piece of information.  The download should not be stopped 
and the user should not have to confirm this piece of information.
