GTK2 engine - Clearlook and Human themes animation

Why animation is disable by default for the Clearlook and Human engine?

Is it a source of trouble or a technical choice?

I don't really understand why this choice has been performed...

Yes it's eyecandy, but it doesn't hit overall performance.

Is it possible to enable it byt default in the actual state of the art?
And have feedback from Edgy testers?
