Why OpenOfficeupgrade held back

 i did an alien conversion  on release  canadate  2    2.04 and it went
just fine .  use apt to remove office first then use alien to convert to
debs and  install   ...it will cashe  all the installs then run apt and
install something trivial and apt will finish the install for you
