Hyper Threading on Edgy's 2.6.17 kernel?

Hi, I've got ht=on on the my command line for my kernel, and it worked
fine with Dapper (top and gnome-system-monitor would both show 2 CPUs).
After upgrading to Edgy, this is no longer the case.

Is this meant to be, or should I file a bug?
